According to the Federal Statistical Office, one in four citizens is already 60 years or older today. However, only five percent of the homes and houses of this generation meet the minimum requirements for age-appropriate living. 

Mothers are so many things. They are the first person of reference for their children, soul comforter, nurse, teacher for almost all school subjects, cook, housekeeper, shopper, cleaning lady, laundry woman. 

Where to go when things aren't so easy in old age? Straight to a retirement or even a nursing home? Or stay in your own apartment, your own house, and get external help? Start a senior co-housing community? 

We, famPLUS - Care Consultation, have joined the Dementia Partner initiative and will offer basic courses on dementia diseases as part of this.  

No one wants to deal with it, but it can happen to anyone. The case of needing care. Whether it's that the parents become in need of care, oneself, or even one's own child. 

Getting out of the hospital does not always mean fully recovered. About one in ten required medical follow-up care after discharge, according to the Federal Statistical Office.

Many people in need of care do not want to go to a nursing home. But many caregivers also wish to experience the last phase of life together with their loved ones in their own homes.
