Consultation under § 37.3 SGB XI now possible by phone or virtually via famPLUS GmbH

Those who receive care allowance as part of home care are obligated , to regularly take advantage of a counseling session. The consultation visit ensures the quality of care and serves as advice for caregiving relatives. The goal is to relieve all persons involved in the care by providing helpful tips and guidance for home care.

The legislator has made it possible for you to temporarily postpone the mandatory counseling visit according to §37 paragraph 3 SGB XI for your relatives in need of care until the March 31, 2022 can also be done by phone or video call. This is a very sensible solution given the currently skyrocketing COVID-19 infection rates.

If the care consultation is not accessed continuously, the care allowance may be reduced or withheld.

 

Frequency of counseling visits:

  • once every six months for care level 2 and 3
  • once every quarter for care levels 4 and 5
  • with care level 1, there is the possibility of a biannual visit

 

Consultations with us are also possible on weekends, early in the morning, or in the evening.
