All of this was planned very differently. Sabrina C, who works as a tax consultant for Ernst & Young in Düsseldorf, and her husband had discussed that the new father took 6 months of parental leave to take care of her baby. From May, Sabrina (31) wanted to start part -time, work fully from mid -July 2013, and then the father (32) also return to his profession as a system administrator. But he had made the bill without his employer who terminated him.
And so it happened that Sabrina's husband takes care of the baby for months while leaving the house at 7:15 in the morning to work. "I think it's good that my son is not only classically looked after by mom. The child benefits scary to have his father as a caregiver!" Sabrina can see the good thing about the situation, but at the same time she is angry that her husband, who took parental leave out of conviction, had to look for a new job.
The Düsseldorf native has a responsible job she loves, and where she does not work with the Stechwahr: "I say so, in the contract it says that I have a 40-hour week...", the young mother indicates. Your work environment perceives you as good: "We are a very female department that is extremely child -friendly. In the past two years, someone has always been pregnant, and my employer enables us a lot of flexibility." In no way, says the tax consultant, she feels disadvantaged as an employee with children, especially since she can occasionally work in the home office and it is also okay in her company to stay at home because of a sick child.
From the end of October 2013, however, the rhythm of the young family will change again, because the father of the family will start his new position. "And that's why we were looking for a childminder through Famplus in summer, to which our son is currently going for a morning twice a week." This gentle acclimatization was originally not planned, but because the parents noticed that their baby would like to have other children, they simply moved the daily nut visit to the front. From November, your child will be with this childminder for 5 days a week.
"I had read on the intranet that we could take advantage of the service of Famplus. And because I knew that one of my colleagues used the offer, I asked them about their experiences-they were good. In this respect, it quickly became clear to me that I did that too," recalls the 31-year-old. Without any formalities, she was able to log in at Famplus, create a profile with her needs and her wishes, and received a call from her contact person from Famplus 1-2 days later, where everything else was discussed.
"She sent me a lot of links to Homepages from child minders and unlocked me for profiles that can be viewed on the Famplus website," reports Sabrina. Since the childminders were already informed that the C. Family would come to them, the phone calls were also efficient: "And I thought it was good, myself, I think there were 25 childminders and hearing whether I can get along with them," sums up the tax consultant. "I preferred to have a very close selection for me."
The young parents personally only met a single childminder, for whom they also opted. "It was not easy because of my desire to make an appointment - the kindergarten year begins in August, and on this date the child minders always have free places," analyzes Sabrina.
She experienced the service from Famplus as quickly and competently. What the young mother helped a lot were the targeted and expert questions of your contact person at Famplus when it came to define your needs on the first phone: "With the first child you have no idea what options there are, I was happy to help myself!" The good feeling of being able to be sure of the professional mediation that she puts your child in trustworthy hands was also a real plus for Sabrina.
It would not have been easy to regulate everything yourself, the young mother is sure. As it has gone, both parents can go back full -time - without paper war with forms, because the childminder took care of the contracts and the payment via the youth welfare office Düsseldorf. And for the service of Famplus, Sabrina only had to click on a link. It couldn't be easier.
