A business trip or training is scheduled, and no one can be found to care for the children during this time. Particularly for working single parents, it is often unaffordable to pay for additional childcare during off-peak hours.

According to the Federal Statistical Office, one in four citizens is already 60 years or older today. However, only five percent of the homes and houses of this generation meet the minimum requirements for age-appropriate living.
